Buy Advertising Space Explained


How It Works

Buying advertising space in email marketing campaigns is a great way to advertise your business. Easy To Send customers can place a media buy via the Easy Ads Network. Customers who sign up as a seller will have these advertisements served on their newsletter. Easy Ads allows you to target your specific audience and drive the traffic you want. We have built Easy Ads with the ease and flexibility to help make it "Easy" for both buyers and sellers.

Get Started

To get started buying advertising space with Easy Ads, simply log in to Easy To Send and select the Easy Ads tab at the top of the screen. After selecting the appropriate checkbox, and filling in your PayPal email address, click Become A Member and you are ready to start buying ad space. Click the big orange Buy button in the middle of the screen and view our How-To Guide below on how to create your first ad buy.

How-To Buy Advertising Space Guide

Create your ad campaign name: This is the name of your Ad Campaign. This name will appear on the Easy Ads home page dashboard, as well as in the reporting area. Please give it a name that will identify your ad buy.

Select your industry: This is the business industry category that best describes your business. This helps identify your ad buy category.

Choose the time period: There are 2 options for the time period in which you want your ads to run–"Serve all ads immediately until budget is met", and "Evenly distribute budget throughout time period". Select a beginning date for your ad campaign. If you chose the "Evenly distribute budget" option, you also have the ability to select an end date. On the Easy Ads Home Dashboard you can pause/play and also terminate this ad buy so you never have to worry about going over budget.

Input CPM and budget pricing: This is the area to decide how much you want to spend on your ad campaign. The CPM is the cost for 1000 impressions and the Total Budget box is the total dollar amount in which you would like to spend for this campaign.

Enter in your zip code: This is the box where you should enter in the zip code in which you are located.

Select from our business and geographic options: There are 3 tabs to enter in additional criteria for narrowing the options in which your ad will be placed – By Industry, By Location, and By Business Type.

• The By Industry tab allows you to select which industry you want to target.
• The By Location tab allows for choosing certain geographic options such as State, City, DMA, and/or Zip Code.
• The By Business tab allows you to specify subcategories of the 4 business groups we have - Community, Cause, Commerce, and Connecting.
Keep in mind the more granular your selection, the more expensive the ad buy may be. Leave the boxes blank if you do not want to target a specific industry, location, or business type.

Ad buy description box: This is a free flow text box that allows you to describe what kind of inventory you want to buy in your own words. This helps us better match up the media buys for the buyers and sellers.

Upload your creative banner ad: Click the orange Browse button to upload the creative ad banner from your computer. Please note that only .jpg files are allowed.

Select the banner ad size: Select which size image ad you uploaded. There are 2 sizes – 728x90 (Leaderboard) and 160x600 (Skyscraper).

Enter in the click through link: This click through link is the web site that will be loaded when the user clicks on the ad. Please enter the link in this format – http://www.yourwebsite.com

Click Buy: You will be contacted via email once your buy has been approved and processed.
